Rhonda Foxworthy
Rhonda is a Licensed Professional Counselor who takes joy in helping adults and couples navigate life’s challenges. She is committed to supporting her clients as they move from feeling “stuck” or aimless to experiencing hope, satisfaction, and peace in their lives.
Creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing is at the heart of Rhonda’s approach. She listens attentively and works collaboratively with clients to explore solutions that can help them regain control and direction in their lives.
Rhonda has experience working with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, grief, and loss. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapeutic approach specifically designed to treat trauma. Rhonda also provides support to individuals facing challenges related to aging, infertility, and pregnancy, with specialized training in Perinatal Mood Disorders. As a marriage counselor, she works with couples at different stages of their relationship, including Premarital and Discernment Counseling.
Originally from Georgia, Rhonda holds a degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and initially worked as an Industrial Engineer and Consultant. Realizing her true calling was to help others in a more personal way, she transitioned to counseling and earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbus State University.
Rhonda offers telehealth counseling and lives in Georgia with her husband. She has three adult daughters.
