Alice Hamrick
Alice is passionate about counseling because she believes in the power of human connection and the potential for positive change in people’s lives. Her goal is to help people rediscover their own internal strength. She appreciates working with adolescence, teens, and young adults. Alice has experience in treating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, peer relationships, and developing coping skills.
She is committed to creating a supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while working toward a greater sense of self-understanding. She has a background in psychodynamic training, thus encouraging a deep exploration of self to foster increased self-awareness.
Alice graduated with a Bachelors degree from Georgia Gwinnett College and a Masters degree from Northwestern University. She is a former counselor at Johns Creek and Alpharetta Counseling, where she received a lot of experience working with children, teens, and young adults.
Alice is under the clinical supervision of Carleen Newsome, M.A., LPC, CPCS.
