Cally Short
Cally believes humans are holistic beings with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. She believes change starts from within, and works to empower the individuals she serves to create the change they wish to see for themselves. Cally is passionate about working with adolescents and young adults who are facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, life transitions, and confidence building.
Cally has experience serving in various mental health roles and environments including adolescent crisis stabilization units, trauma focused centers, outpatient settings, community service boards, and school based mental health. Prior to joining InnerCompass, she provided mental health services as a school-based therapist through The Summit Counseling Center. She believes a therapeutic relationship is a vulnerable and sacred place, and commits to establishing and honoring a genuine connection for hope and healing with each individual she serves.
In her free time, Cally enjoys traveling, hiking, and gardening. She and her husband enjoy taking weekend trips to new places and spending time with friends and family.
Cally is a Certified Prepare and Enrich Facilitator.
